Most carbon steel coils are produced through hot rolling. During the hot rolling process, the metal billet undergoes preheating, rolling, and cooling processes, and eventually becomes a carbon steel coil with certain specifications and performance. In order to improve the surface quality of carbon steel coils, pickling processes are usually used to treat the coils. Pickling can remove the oxide scale and impurities on the steel surface, making the surface smoother and cleaner. In the process of producing carbon steel coils, the edges of the steel coils need to be trimmed to ensure the dimensional accuracy and straightness of the products.
